Rally at the busiest government center that you can get to. State Capitals, City Halls, Courthouses, etc. It doesn't matter if you're alone when you arrive. You won't be alone forever. Be loud, but not obnoxious, so people will be willing to listen to you. Knowledge is the enemy of control. Teach people. Refer them to important resources, including this forum.

To do this, however we need a message to send them. We need a code of morals and ideals to attract people.

I was actually about to start a thread for this myself, but you beat me to it Well for one, I'll definitely be wearing the white armband. I'm not employed (I'm a student) so it's not like I'll have to stop making the system work on that day by not going to work... But I encourage others, especially those in the service industry, to call off. I'll do whatever I can to network and make connections with people- my friends, classmates, etc... It's vitally important that we learn to build bridges instead of walls. The only reason we found ourselves in this position to begin with is because we allowed ourselves to be too cut off from one another. That's right... We started seeing ourselves and each other as these terrible people, and that's what the media perpetuated until it became a manifest destiny. We need to retrain ourselves to smile, reach out to strangers, help those in need, and come together as a people, because we're all in this together.

To do this, however we need a message to send them. We need a code of morals and ideals to attract people. well i good set of morals and principals to live by are some that Glen Beck talks about on Fox News. No matter what side of the aisle you are you should be able to agree with at least 3-5. Some are more religion geared but you still get the point: 9 Principles 1. America Is Good. 2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life. God “The propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the external rules of order and right which Heaven itself has ordained.” from George Washington’s first Inaugural address. 3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday. Honesty “I hope that I shall always possess firmness and virtue enough to maintain what I consider to be the most enviable of all titles, the character of an honest man.” George Washington 4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government. Marriage/Family “It is in the love of one’s family only that heartfelt happiness is known. By a law of our nature, we cannot be happy without the endearing connections of a family.” Thomas Jefferson 5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it. Justice “I deem one of the essential principles of our government… equal and exact justice to all men of whatever state or persuasion, religious or political.” Thomas Jefferson 6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results. Life, Liberty, & The Pursuit of Happiness “Everyone has a natural right to choose that vocation in life which he thinks most likely to give him comfortable subsistence.” Thomas Jefferson 7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable. Charity “It is not everyone who asketh that deserveth charity; all however, are worth of the inquiry or the deserving may suffer.” George Washington 8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion. On your right to disagree “In a free and republican government, you cannot restrain the voice of the multitude; every man will speak as he thinks, or more properly without thinking.” George Washington 9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me. Who works for whom? “I consider the people who constitute a society or a nation as the source of all authority in that nation.” Thomas Jefferson theres more you can read at theglennbeck912project.com/

I feel we should isolate ourselves from violent acts. Violence by just a few members of a group usually has the entire group labeled as terrorists or anything else to defame said groups. Surely, if the media is controlled by the corporations, they will be looking for any opportunity to make us appear as the bad guys.

Yup, that's why we are going to be as nonviolent as we can. Guys I suggest recording anything in which police are involved to protect yourselves. If there's an eye on them, we can retaliate in that they attacked first and ghave proof. If they don't attack, that's even better. But don't attack, threaten, or harm in any way another citizen unprovoked. Leave the violence for the ones in charge of it all. If they give us Hell we'll have our own to give, and we'll have saved it just for them.

I think we should bring video cameras and tape everything. The media can edit out certain things, even manipulate things said in interviews, but they cannot edit it if we have a non edited version in our hands.

The Internet is still largely free, but this might not last long. Sites like YouTube give the people the opportunity to reach a large audience, but even flagging and censorship isn't out of the question there... It would be nice to have a video alternative to YouTube.
4chan is largely free, almost to the point of being a cesspool of immorality and humanity's worst (this is, of course, a generalization; there are no doubt more "good" people on there than the small fraction who make it ugly) To boot, millions of users use 4chan and it has the potential to reach a large audience very quickly. I doubt mods would remove or censor anything unless they were pressured to do so by some authority.
So yes, in conclusion, I believe it is wise to document, record, and expose "them"... They turn the camera on us, but who's watching them? This needs to be a symbiotic balance- we need to watch them back.
I believe that is the problem with our universe... It isn't that good is dying and evil is winning (although that may be debatable) I just believes there exists a marked imbalance. May the Universe work through us and our opponents to set things in harmony again.

videotaping is a good idea, and youtube won't remove anything we put up. They firmly believe in freedom of speech, and have been hosting outragous videos from "conspiracy theorists" for years...
I'd like to add to that. Anyone who has a laptop, webcam, and unlimited mobile broadband internet access should setup stickam and/or blogtv accounts and schedule live broadcasts of any planned rallies, especially big ones. Make sure your laptop is fully charged and try to stake out a power outlet if available. having two batteries or even coordinating with people with laptops to trade off while you go charge up will let you broadcast the entire day.

to add to my previous post, i think we should make sure that if we set up video hosting accounts for this, we should make a thread on this site for posting them so we can add each other as friends.

no. 5 is no good since some laws are unjustified I Agree, some of those have good base principles however, it has been said in the court system there is no justice, only law. As for being peaceful, i believe in being as peaceful as possible and finding a diplomatic solution to problems. However, we should NOT hesitate to defend ourselves if we are attacked by others. Destructive behavior is fine, as long as no innocent beings are harmed in the process. (Such as vandalism to get our message across, etc) We need to let the governments know they are NOT in charge. It is the governments duty to PROTECT the people, and that is what they will do, not enslave them.
