I think a design should be optional... Should we have some kind of code word to address people we see with white bands? Like, "Are you part of it, too?" etc?

I don't care what color myself, but seeing as gangs are getting bigger around here should we just stick to colors? Maybe adding some symbols wouldn't hurt? For placement, why not right arm (Band) or forehead (Bandanna)? The same as all the RFID scare dox and the Mark of the Beast stuff? Or go opposite to it? Ok a major thought to that. Plain white is a great idea and I will from now on wear a white arm band. Now for an arm side, I think your getting a little silly. Just put the sucker in the open is what I say. Also another thing. Putting symbols onto the bands will make this go from a good idea to the freaking HLS calling us "Terrorist". White is pure and is very open ended. But honestly you can't really call someone with a piece of white cloth a terrorist. And remember symbolism is a very power device. O and Hi I'm a random Alaskan that found your form and already fell in love. Keep of the good work!

No real need for code words unless your wanting this to be a LOT more then this form is already talking about. From my understanding this is suppose to awaken people to the lies of our leaders not turn itself into a privet cool kids club.

Nolen has a point,If you see someone with the band just a nod will suffice. two people pass in the street with the bands do they need words? They already know what its for they support it themselves, why do they need some codeword or motto to identify themselves?
Plain white is the best color for this any other color can be easily interpreted different ways...while white may also be interpreted different ways its more easier to see its meaning.

But honestly you can't really call someone with a piece of white cloth a terrorist. They have the power to say whatever they want right now. Remember Osama bin Laden? No proof whatsoever that he had connection with 9/11 but the majority of people instantly go 'terrorist'. The definition of a terrorist has been changed to cover anyone from the simple peace rally, to the blogger, to the full-blown suicide bomber... If you are here you oppose the government in power and what they bring. By their terms, we are all terrorists. But really I was just letting anything fly. Symbols or not I don't care, I'll wear all white all the time and spread the word.

no we wouldnt be called terrorists if we have a symbol we would be called a gang. even the white cloth is going to be misinterpreted as us representing some gang

The only problem i see with it wearing a different color than white is that #1, gang association. Even if nobody suspects you of being in a gang, the gang themselves may come after you. I know around here the blood wear black, green, red, and they do wear it around their wrist. A white armband around the top of the right arm (or left arm, so we aren't looked at as Nazis of some sort) would be our best bet here, in my opinion.

Perhaps one of those white rubber armbands, like the ones used to advertise charity would be better. Like I've just said, they are already associated with charity, so perhaps that will deter people from seeing it as a "gang" symbol.
Just a suggestion.

Yeah, or maybe even a white ribbon pin? I took a picture of mine, which was just a strip of cloth I tied around my right wrist (it looked cool- didn't really look right on my upper arm). I'll try to upload the picture here once I can get it sent from my phone.

We can always wear it tied around say our right calf/knee or something, just say its a new fashion style or something your trying out. Nobody would really suspect it.

No codewords, and don't say it's a fashion statement. That's not how you spread a message!

No codewords, and don't say it's a fashion statement. That's not how you spread a message! Yup. anyone asks you INFORM, don't hide your cause. There's no point in wearing the armband if you don't have a message to share. Carry cards or slips of paper with your phone number/email and this website address on them when wearing it, and hand them to anyone who asks about it. Leave them with generous tips for waitresses/waiters, even. The generous tip idea is to get them thinking you're not a bad dude, not a bribe XD
