Feel free to make a daily report ITT. === I wore a strip of white cloth around my wrist all day. I spoke to 4 people about it, 3 of them asked me first. 2 were my friends, 1 was this guy I know through my school, and another was a homeless guy The receptions I got weren't too great... My friends kinda just laughed it off, probably thinking "Oh here he goes again with his crazy conspiracy theories." The homeless guy seemed quiet, like he either didn't really understand or was too afraid to get involved. The other guy just gave me the impression that he didn't get it, and even though he was polite, I kind of got the feeling he thought I was a fool. I felt like I embarrassed myself more than anything, but oh well... Some people are still asleep I guess. Anyways, here's my band.

Of course you will be open to ridicule. That didn't stop people like Charles Darwin or Galileo though.
A bit cheesy, I know, but you get what I mean.

Protip: Dont start talking about the Illuminati or the Freemasons if you dont want to freak people out.

Well, I have in the past, so maybe they already have an opinion of me. But this time I just mentioned that it was part of a revolutionary movement, and gave them the quote about the two Roman senators. I don't think anyone got the point that we're slaves.

A bit out of context don't you think? Should have thought about that before you said.

Hmm, well what do you think we should say to people if asked about the armband? Isn't the idea to spread the word? I personally like the quote about the two senators- I feel like it perfectly punctuates the purpose of the armband.

We should say that we are part of a revolutionary movement, and if they ask further, say that we aim to achieve true liberty and freedom through non-violent measures.
If they ask further, say that our rights are being cut left right and centre, and we want to put a stop to it.
If further, explain some of the "loony" stuff.

I sent my message out to 25 people in my contacts list. Only one replied back- my best friend from high school. He said,
To which I replied,
I don't know... I guess there's pros and cons to both fighting against the things you feel strongly opposed to, as well as pros and cons to having a zen-like go-with-the-flow attitude about all the troubles that come your way. Maybe there is a certain maturity that one must adopt at some point, to just accept things the way they are and not be caught up in so much concern. But on the contrary, there is also something to be said about raging against the dying of the light to hold on to that sacred flame of freedom we are born with; that the world around us slowly puts out as we are molded into an unquestioning cog for the machine.

So I got to talk to 4 like-minded people who said they would be down for this movement. Hopefully they will follow through by wearing the white armband. I'm kind of wondering if we're not losing steam already, since a majority of our members bailed out, haven't even seen notasheep online for a couple days, and I've yet to spot a single white armband on anyone else out there... Am I the only one trying to make this happen? haha, I hope not!

But I see that as opportunity to spread over a larger that we would do if we were localised. All it takes is a cigarette that's not been butted out to cause a wildfire...

But only if it's dropped in exactly the right place at exactly the right time. Otherwise it just smolders for a minute or two and then goes out.

Well in the first few days I have talked to my brother, parents, and one friend. Brother thinks I'm a crazy conspiracy theorist. Parents just shrug it off and don't ask more. My friend seemed really cool about it though. Him and his dad are both pretty anti-government and showed me a couple rather shocking movies the first time I ever went over there. Unfortunately I couldn't access the site from his computer I'll try next time I see him
