grantjkidney.blogspot.com/2009/04/homeland-insecurity-targets-usa.htmlWe may liberal left wing here, but it looks like those who don't support Obama will be slaughtered. Looking at trends throughout history, it's almost inevitable. Fuck this, I'm moving to Russia at the first opportunity. I don't care if I have to go on a floating door, the long I stay in this country the more endangered I become. I'd rather be freezing my arse off somewhere in Siberia than be burnt in a state crematorium in some shitty little plastic coffin.

I learned to stop taking Homeland Security seriously a while ago. I'm kind of under the impression that they're usually just politely ignored by the FBI and CIA and company. Homeland Security is really just a political tool, as demonstrated by the content of their "suspected terrorist" lists.

Being a Britfag, I thought that they were all just one big thing to be honest.

There are like 12 different government agencies in charge of security and crime prevention here, and it's never really clear where ones job ends and anothers begins. There's plenty of rivalry in between them, as well. Originally, Homeland Security was supposed to be an over-agency in charge of organizing all the other agencies to keep the sheep in line fight the evil terrorists, but the FBI, CIA, and DOJ all had their own agendas and pretty much just ignored Homeland Security.
