I am Canadian myself, I'm not sure if anyone else here is. I think we should hold our protest at Parliament Hill. If anyone else has suggestions, please speak up.

Not from Canada, but if Parliament Hall is the largest government center you can get to, go for it. If anyone who wants to protest can't get there, I ask that they still protest at the busiest place they can get to. I try not to recommend any specific place to protest so that people can be self-guiding and not be discouraged by not being able to get to a planned rally.

My school is right next to City Hall, and I have class on Monday, so going there to protest won't be a problem. I live in SF, where there's constant protests, so it shouldn't be hard to get the word out and mobilize people for 06/01/09.
What are we protesting, specifically? Is this just to show the administration that we have numbers and aren't happy with how they're running things? It seems like we need some key talking points.

We are protesting against government oppression, the expansion of their powers, and hatred among people.
